The Fairgrounds Farmers market is Forsyth County’s longest-running source for locally raised fruits, vegetables and proteins. Market vendors also offer flowers, handmade baskets, cakes & pies, fresh baked breads, jams & jellies, honey, crafts and much more.

Mother’s Day: In honor of Mother’s Day, flower vendors at the market will be giving free flowers to the first 100 mothers who visit on May 7. And on June 4, the market will host a “Very Berry Celebration” with a baking contest looking for originality, flavor and appearance in recipes using berries.
Seafood Festival: The Fairgrounds Farmers Market will host its second annual Seafood Festival on June 18, featuring cooked seafood and seafood for purchase as well as other activities.

- July 16: Annual “Aw Shucks” corn-shucking contest to benefit Samaritan Ministries.
- Aug. 6 – 14th annual Salsa Contest.
- Sept. 10: “Taste o’ Honey” honey day.
