Complex to provide Shuttle Service on Saturday Sept. 29 for Dixie Classic Fair and WFU vs Duke Football

Due to the anticipated crowd of Wake Forest-Duke game and the Dixie
Classic Fair, the Winston-Salem Entertainment-Sports Complex has
implemented extra measures to assist both fair and football attendees
with extra staff, and coordination with the Department of Transportation.
The complex will provide shuttle service from First Assembly Church on
University Parkway to the drop-off point in front of Joel Coliseum. The
service will begin at 9 AM and continue until 10 PM. To get to the shuttle
entrance, take Long Drive off University to the designated shuttle
location. Parking will be $8, which is the same as in complex parking
areas. There is no additional charge to use the shuttle.
The fair will open at 9 AM and kickoff for the game will be at 12:30 PM.
Complex officials are urging patrons to please plan to arrive early and
follow the directional signs when in the area. Carpooling is advised if
possible. As always, please be safe when parking, store valuables in the
trunk and lock your vehicle. Drivers not attending one of the events
should use alternate routes to avoid the area around the Winston-Salem
Entertainment-Sports Complex.
Anyone out of town that is not familiar with the area can obtain an area
map at the Complex website: www.ljvm.com.
